ADVERBS OF FREQUENCY

Tell us how often we do an activity. Adverbs of frequency are:

always, usually, often, sometimes, seldom, hardly ever, never.

ADVERB FREQUENCY EXAMPLE
always 100% I always eat sandwiches for breakfast.
usually 90 % We usually start lessons at 8.30.
often 70 % Then often go to the cinema at weekends.
sometimes 50 % I sometimes read a book before going to sleep.
seldom 10% They seldom walk to school.
hardly ever 5% Mary hardly ever eats sweets.
never 0% We never go to school in July and August.

Can you think of the things that you do: always, usually, often, sometimes, seldom, hardly ever, never. Tell your teacher and classmates about it.
